Web Project Manager

What you'll be doing... mostly... (aka "Job description")

  • Following the scope of a project from the proposal stage, through the technical work until the delivery and post-delivery follow-up
  • Help in drawing out the initial project proposal together with the client
  • Translating the needs of the client's expectations into clear deliverables (stories) for developers
  • Creating a project plan in conjunction with the client and the development team
  • Following up on the development team's tasks
  • Regularly briefing the client on the project status
  • Keeping track of change requests, new feature requests, and communicating with client about the budget impact
  • Coming up with the craziest ideas (we like crazy, because crazy ideas is what set us apart from the rest !)
  • Enjoying your job ! There's no point in doing a job you don't like... people who love their job do things a lot more efficient and better :-)

What information should be in your brain (aka "Required knowledge/experience")

  • Experience in IT project management, preferably in a Web environment
  • Experience in communicating with clients
  • Understanding of web development methods (not small technical details, but conceptually)
  • Ability to manage different projects (of different sizes) at the same time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Native Dutch or French is a requirement, good English is a must
